I opened my cupboard and knew I had some fabric down the bottom. And I grabbed the first bit I saw which was this pink check. It is actually a t-shirt type material so I wasn't sure it would work with what I wanted to do. But I am so happy, it worked a treat. As you can see I put a square of it behind the greeting, but I also made three cute flowers with it. I just used the Spiral Flower Originals Die by Stampin' Up! (SU). Then I added some sparkle. I am so happy with how those flowers turned out.

I hope I have inspired you to join us in this challenge.

Supplies used:-
Paper: Whisper White SU, Pear Pizzazz SU, Daffodil Delight SU, Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper SU
Inks: Pear Pizzazz SU, Daffodil Delight SU, Melon Mambo SU

Free For All

Today I have a layout for you that I did as part of  the Dsign Team inspiration for the new challenge over at Off The Rails Scrapbooking. This challenge is such fun - Free For All. So you can make anything you want. I can't wait to see what everyone does.

This layout came together so quickly, I was amazed. I love it when the mojo just flows. This is my son at the beach when we were on holidays in Queensland. Although he isn't much of a swimmer, he just loves running up and down the beach in the shallow waves. It brings so much joy to me to see him so relaxed and enjoying himself.

And I have a surprise......I actually wrote down this time what I used on the project....LOL...I know, isn't it amazing.

White with One - Latte

It has been a while since I have done any challenges for anything other  than DT assignments. So I decided to do one just for the fun of it. And the one I chose was White With 1. Their current colour of choice is Latte...oh its so scrummy.
Well here is my effort. It was so much fun just using the one colour.

Here are some close ups of some of the details.

And I am going to be really naughty here and not be able to tell you everything I used. A few months ago I had so many packets of  embellishments all over the place that I decided to put them all in one box. But unfortunately my 9 year old daughter also uses from this box, and over time most of the packaging has been thrown out, so I now have no idea what manufacturer etc most of the embellishments are. I do however know that I used these :-
  • Stampin' Up! Whisper White card
  •  Tattered Angels Mist in Burnt Leather
  • Stampin' Up! specialty paper
  •  Stampin' Up! White Craft Ink
  • Stampin' Up! stamps - Woodgrain, Tape It, Gorgeous Grunge
  • Stampin' Up! Little Leaves Sizzlit Die
  • Kaisercraft wheat stencil
  • white gel pen
I hope you like my layout and feel inspired to enter  the White With 1 challenge.

Thanks for dropping by.
